The Meteorite 1911 is crafted from genuine Muonionalusta meteorite, one of the oldest known meteorites ever discovered. Formed more than 4.5 billion years ago during the birth of our solar system, every component carries a history that predates our planet. Each etched surface reveals the meteorite's natural Widmanstätten crystal structure—a pattern that cannot be replicated by man and can only form over millions of years in space.
Unlike decorative inlays or surface treatments, the frame and slide are machined entirely from solid meteorite. The crystalline patterns visible on the surface continue throughout the material, creating a firearm that reveals its extraterrestrial origin from every angle.
Most meteorite firearms use the material sparingly. The Meteorite 1911 extends extraterrestrial metal into nearly every visible component, including the frame, slide, grips, sights, hammer, trigger, safeties, slide stop, magazine release, and mainspring housing. Only the barrel, sear, springs, and pins remain stainless steel to ensure long-term reliability.
The pistol is housed in a custom burl maple presentation case designed specifically for the project. Sculpted to resemble the rugged surface of a meteorite, the case serves as an extension of the story rather than simply a storage box.
The availability of large, structurally sound meteorite is exceptionally limited. The amount suitable for precision firearm manufacturing is rarer still.
